We don't have a fancy set up, so help us make the guest posting process run as smoothly and simply as possible by following these guidelines:
  • Please do say what you want to say. Use a prose or poetic style that suits both you and the particular subject. Length is up to you, but 100 to 1,000 words works best in this blog format.
  • Give your post a title.
  • Submit your final version. We just don't have the people power to edit content, nor do we really want to. And don't forget to spell check it too.
  • Not that you were planning on it, but no rants, raves, personal attacks or gratuitous use of profanity.
  • Including appropriate links to other articles or web pages is not only OK, but encouraged.
  • Pictures and images: 1 per post, which will be inserted at the top of the post unless you instruct otherwise. Maximum file size of 100k. Include the image as a separate attachment.
  • Email the post to randy@simplelivingamerica.org, with a subject of "SLA guest blog". Embed the post within the body of the email, or as an attached Word or plain text document.
  • Include any additional instructions, but please keep it simple.
  • Tell us who you are, a short sentence or two about yourself, and the city and state where you live.
  • Tell us whether you want your first name only posted, and whether you want a link to your email address (and/or web site) posted for readers to contact you directly.
Note: If you just want to comment on another posting, then use the comment function already built into the blog by clicking on the COMMENT link at the bottom of the particular post. SLA membership is not required to post comments.
